CALRIT-250 contains Clarithromycin 250 mg, a macrolide antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, including respiratory tract, ENT, skin, and soft tissue infections. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, helping stop the growth of susceptible bacteria. It may also be used as part of combination therapy for the treatment of Helicobacter pylori infections. Use only as directed by a physician and complete the full prescribed course. This medicine is intended for bacterial infections only and is not effective against viral illnesses.
