CALRIT-500 contains Clarithromycin 500 mg, a macrolide antibiotic used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including respiratory tract, ENT, skin, and soft tissue infections. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, helping stop the growth of susceptible bacteria. It may also be used in combination therapy for the treatment of Helicobacter pylori infections. Use only as directed by a physician and complete the full prescribed course. This medicine is effective only against bacterial infections and should not be used for viral illnesses such as the common cold or flu.
